[COPY] Squirrel With A Pearl Earring--second chance!
Plus a LOL new kit from Mr. Stevers & a new tote kit
Excellent New Design from Mr. Stevers
I’ve wanted to turn this phrase into a kit for a long time—but I could never do it THIS well! Leave it to Stevers! Available as a Basic & Deluxe kit and a PDF as well.
Pearl Squirrel Pop-Up This Weekend ONLY!
WELL! We have never had something go so over-the-top viral as this Fine Art Squirrel kit from Happy Sloth. Since so many of you have asked if there’s a second chance to get one, we’re doing a second pop-up shop for the Squirrel With A Pearl Earring kit ONLY. And it ends MONDAY!
UK Customers can purchase this via our poor old Etsy shop (which needs an update otherwise, I’m not on there much!)
We offer these as a pop-up shop because they’re very labor-intensive to put together & it takes time! These are unique kits with larger fabric (two are in colors) and 25 colors (which would cost you at least $20 to do yourself). We’re including all the DMC floss on cards, sorted by color—and, of course, including every little thing you need to complete this masterpiece! That means a large swath of grey fabric, two needles, DMC floss sorted on two cards, a bamboo hoop and charts both in color and in symbols.
How do you get your little skwerrly paws on one? You can PRE-ORDER it and it’ll go out in early August. Also, anything else you add to your order will be shipped all at once, in early August (place a separate order if you need your additional items sooner, thanks!)
Finally, A Stitched Tote Bag—Now Offered As A Kit!
I love this pattern so much but hadn’t offered it as a kit before because I just couldn’t find time to stitch it. So I sent out an email to everyone who had bought the pattern and offered a $25 promo code to anyone who could send me a photo of it stitched on one of our totes. Yeay for Robin in New Zealand who sent us this photo! How impressive is that work? So now this design is available as a tote bag kit! Thanks, Robin!
I’ll leave you with a great example of an altered version of our Fancy Fuck design—I love how @catnipbananas changed the colors and spread the letters out to create a completely new thing. Very nice!
I’ve seen so much great stuff my mom would like lately on Instagram, here’s a partial list. See you next time. Keep creating! xoxo, j.
Delightful and inventive linky-links:
What happens when you pop champagne on horseback?
There’s a woodpecker at the door!
Sequined sea creatures from Kate Jenkins—wow.
Street chandeliers, why not!
Always make an entrance!
My, what a long neck you have.
Cirque de dinosaur, party of one!
Mindblowingly clever umbrella floral bouquet.
AMAZING 2d restaurant in Chicago. I’ve always wanted to do this. It took artists Vanessa Thanh Vu and chef Kevin Yu TWO YEARS and four months!
