I really enjoyed creating the border for this one. Although it’s a seasonal sentiment, I believe it works year-round. Get the full kit or a PDF pattern!
Ah, the Existentialists
If you’re feeling moody or thoughty, kit and PDF are here now! Stitched with one thread only because it’s blackwork but also because it’s kinda goth, don’t you think?

Quick Pattern For The Times We Live In
Not even a PDF, just a pattern right here in the middle of everything. A quick stitch to share and honor the man.
Pillowcases in Stock—in White!
We have more pillowcases in stock, and they’re white! We’ll have more ivory later, but we needed some NOW! Note that this is mentioned in all current square pillowcase listings. It’s not a big difference, just a shade away.
Three GREAT New Books on Craftivism from the BEST!
Craftivist Collective Handbook by Sarah Corbett of Craftivist Collective
Crafting A Better World by Diana Weymar of Tiny Pricks Project
Let’s Move The Needle by Shannon Downey of Badass Cross Stitch
It’s astounding that THE three people I think of when I think of craftivism have ALL come out with books within the past month or so. And they’re each as unique as their creators, all of which I have considered my sisters in stitching for a long time. With her empathetic angle and thorough instructions, Sarah Corbett shows you the real art of gentle protest in a book that’s community-funded; Diana Weymar has some impressive big names in each chapter (Jamie Lee Curtis! Roz Chast! Maira Kalman!); and Shannon Downey—well, I liked it so much I blurbed it on the back cover (and she’s on tour—go meet her!)
The links above will take you to more information about each book on the authors’ websites—so, if you’re unfamiliar with any of them you have so much to discover! These are THE three big hitters, so you are really in for a treat!
IF you ordered a Glow-in-the-dark Ramen Kitty needle minder, they’re running late but I’ve been assured they’re on the way…hopefully it’ll be about a week?Apologies for the delay, I’m sitting on the edge of my seat just like you!
GUESS what’s coming next week? Another POP-UP shop! I think you’ll dig it!
Thanks for being here, Spooky!
