We have an addition to our family; Odin came to live with us in November last year. He is soooooo lovable! And every time I crossstitch a story unfolds. First he just lies, twists his head and looks and pleads for cuddles with his eyes. Slowly he sits up straight, looks around and in the end just grabs my stitching hand(s), demanding: pet me NOW!

We’re in THE PATH
Here in Dallas, we’re in primo eclipse viewing territory. We will NOT be having a viewing party for the public, nor will we be handing out glasses or taking the day off. I’ll probably play with the shadows rather than look at the sky—what if the glasses didn’t work? My cross stitch days would be OVER! These are the ridiculous things my anxiety screams at me ;P. But, really, get your colander ready and check out the shadows, they’re so much fun!

When we had the eclipse a few years back, the shadows were the best part! And the eerie quiet. And the birds not singing. So, so cool!!!!
