Breaking News: Stevers in the NYTimes!
Mr. Stevers is enjoying his 15 minutes—plus! In today’s NYTimes Style section, plus over 2 million views on Instagram. Yowsa! Well done and well deserved, my friend and Secret Weapon! ;) Get the kit, or the PDF if you’d like to stitch during the finale this weekend. FINAAALLLLEEEE? PIPER, NOOOOoOoaoooAoOOO!!
A New Guest Contributor: OddlySpecificXStitch!
I kept seeing this design on Instagram, and one day, it hit me that this person needed to join our team. Luckily, she agreed--meet guest contributor Chantelle Daigle of OddlySpecificXStitch! We have created a kit of this design, though the colors are slightly different as they're in our palette--see more on the kit page. I love it!
New Stevers Kit Is Meant to be Read in the Mirror!

Stitched backward to reflect in the bathroom mirror! What will that Stevers think of next? Wow!
Last Chance for Pop Art Squirrel Kits!
PRE-ORDER before midnight, THIS Monday, April 7, and they'll ship by May 15!
I can’t even. Words fail me. I mean, REALLY! How freakin’ talented is Cherie of Happy Sloth? These four pieces are a continuation of her Fine Art Squirrel series, which, you may recall, we offered at a pop-up shop last year.
Squirrels. Fine Art. Cross stitch. What more could you possibly need? Sold as individual kits OR you can get ALL FOUR for a discounted price.
A big reason to buy these as kits is that they have up to 20 floss colors (which would cost you at least $20). Instead, we’re including all the DMC floss on cards, sorted by color—and, of course, including every little thing you need to complete any or all squirrel(s) of your choosing! That means fabric, needles, DMC floss on cards, a wooden hoop, and charts in colors and symbols.
What else can I say? Enjoy the anticipation—definitely something to look forward to!
Thank YOU for being a part of Subversive Cross Stitch and for reading these newsletters! Love you bunches!

Congrats on the NYT - I was teaching in Dallas this weekend and telling the class about the article and kit plus that you lived in the DFW area.
I would love to do a backwards cross stitch that said “What’s your handwashing song.” To hang opposite my mirror. In the bathroom.
