I know it sounds cool to be in the NYTimes (and it felt cool!), but there’s always a low to any high (aka social media is not real life). I received an email and price sheet from an agency that wants me to PAY to use their little “Wirecutter: Our Pick” graphic. Which, is just…everything that’s wrong with the world. Prices START at about $7k and that’s ONLY for social media use and it expires in 12 months! I would show it here, but I’m afraid they’d send me a freakin’ bill or something. So, I was thinking, what if I just cross stitched my own version? HA! That would actually be the definition of subversive. Right?
That’s it for now, but I have all kinds of things on my desk I’m trying out to see if they’re worthy of sharing with you on the site. I’ve been really inspired lately, so look out for upcoming fun!
